The Dangerous Drugs Board extends its heartfelt congratulations to the over 190 individuals who have graduated from the Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) administered by the Quezon City Anti-Drug Abuse Advisory Council (QCADAAC).
At the recent graduation ceremony for the 11th Batch of graduates, DDB Executive Director – Undersecretary Earl Saavedra joined QCADAAC Executive Director Alfredo M. Foronda and Hon. Gian G. Sotto, City Vice Mayor and QCADAAC Co-Chairperson, in celebrating this significant milestone. Undersecretary Saavedra commended the graduates for their unwavering dedication and commitment to personal transformation, highlighting that their successful completion of the program is a testament to their resilience and determination to reintegrate into society.
The CBDRP is an integrated, localized program designed to provide accessible and affordable rehabilitation services to Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDs) with low to mild severity of drug use. It offers a comprehensive range of medical, psychological, and social support within a community setting, promoting both recovery and reintegration.
The collective effort of QCADAAC and various partners, including the DDB, in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery represents a significant milestone and serves as a source of inspiration for others pursuing similar paths.
