To strengthen the integration of the healthy-settings approach and to promote the well-being of its employees, the Basilan State University, in partnership with the Dangerous Drugs Board, conducted an orientation on the Drug-Free Workplace Program in accordance with DDB Regulation No. 13, Series of 2018.
The orientation tackled key issues surrounding the impact of drug abuse on workplace performance, emphasizing the need for a holistic prevention approach. This includes drug testing, awareness campaigns, and rehabilitation support for affected employees. The initiative not only ensures compliance with legal standards but also aims to create a safer, more productive, and supportive working environment for all university personnel.
