The culminating activity of the 2023 Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week was successfully conducted in Baguio City through the BIDA (Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan) Caravan. The activities include the awarding of successful entries for the short film making and slogan making competitions, awarding of outstanding Lupon Tagapamayapa or Barangay Justice System in the whole of Cordillera region. The activity ended with an informative townhall discussion on the sustainability of anti-drug priorities of the national government. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr’s message for the DAPC week was also showcased as one of the highlights of the program.
Undersecretary-Executive Director Earl Saavedra led the activities alongside DILG CAR Regional Director Araceli San Jose, NAPOLCOM CAR Regional Director Editha Puddoc, DOH CAR Regional Director Rio Magpantay, PDEA CAR Regional Director Ernesto Marzo and Baguio City Councilor Jose Molintas (representing Mayor Benjamin Magalong). Different sectors supported the culminating activity which was very successful.
