Undersecretary-Executive Director Earl Saavedra and PDEA Director General Moro Virgilio Lazo met with Members of the European Parliament at the Department of Justice on Friday, February 24.

The significant and productive discussion clarified matters pertaining to the human rights implementation in the country.

It also touched on the anti-drug campaign program of the government and how the accountability mechanism is being carried out by concerned law enforcement agencies. It was also emphasized during the meeting that the Philippine Government remains committed to working hand in hand with foreign counterparts in the spirit of genuine international cooperation.
