Deputy Executive Director for Operations, Assistant Secretary Maria Belen Angelita V. Matibag of the Dangerous Drugs Board discussed the overview of the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy (PADS) during the Training Workshop on Substance Use Prevention and Health Promotion in partnership with the United Nation Office of Drugs and Crimes Philippines (UNODC) held at Barangay Pasadena, City of San Juan.
ASEAN Training Center for Preventive Education (ATCPDE) Director, Professor Francis Grace Duka-Pante was also present during the training and led the discussion on Prevention Science which includes the Nature and General Effects of Psychoactive Substances, Risk and Protective Factors of Substance Uses, and the Principles of Evidence-based Prevention.
During the session, Asec. Matibag urged the participants to actively join drug prevention and other initiatives, and promote public health and safety.
