The Dangerous Drugs Board is conducting a five-day online continuing seminar on Anti-Illegal Drug Operations and Investigation from August 14 to 18, 2023.
143 students from the National Police College and 58 Agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency joined the program which aims to help Drug Enforcement Officers to develop a high level of competency and a greater sense of responsibility when implementing anti-drug law and other relevant procedures.
Dangerous Drugs Board Deputy Executive Director for Operations, Assistant Secretary Maria Belen Angelita V. Matibag delivered an inspirational message and declared the formal opening of the online training while PDEA Deputy Director General for Operations, Assistant Secretary Renato A. Gumban graced the event with a message for the participants.
To date, over 1,323 Police Non-Commissioned Officers and PDEA Agents were trained nationwide from 2015 to 2019 and from 2021 to 2023, over 1,558 enforcers were trained online.
