To effectively support the Special Drug Education Centers (SDECs) in addressing the needs of children and youth involved in substance abuse, it is imperative to provide them with the necessary tools and educational materials that will serve as a Model of Intervention.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in collaboration with the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), has organized a writeshop aimed at developing a Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention Education Tool Kit for Children which strongly adheres to DDB’s Regulation No.1, Series of 2003.

This writeshop is a vital step in designing the project that will be incorporated into the practices employed at SDECs nationwide, thereby ensuring a consistent and effective approach to drug abuse prevention education.
