Dangerous Drugs Board Assistant Secretary Maria Belen Angelita V. Matibag personally handed out a check worth five million pesos to Dr. Charity I. Canapi of DOH Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center Region 2 on February 13, 2023. The financial assistance will be used for the construction of a two-storey staff and guest quarter of the center.
The continuous effort of DDB in providing financial assistance to all Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Centers in the country is part of the anti-drug initiative of the government under the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy (PADS).
