The Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) hosted a National Summit to align DDB Authorized Representatives with recent amendments to Board Regulation No. 3, Series of 2007, which governs voluntary confinement for the treatment and rehabilitation of drug dependents.
This summit provided an essential platform to address the opportunities and challenges in representing PWUDs before the court as they embark on their journey to treatment and rehabilitation.
Key stakeholders gathered to exchange insights, reinforce their roles and responsibilities, and develop concrete, actionable strategies to enhance legal representation for those seeking recovery. Together, they’re working to empower PWUDs who bravely choose rehabilitation, creating a more supportive environment for successful reintegration.
