As part of the advocacy efforts, the Dangerous Drugs Board organizes training sessions for the Indigenous Peoples and the At-Risk Population on drug abuse prevention education.
The training aims to deepen the knowledge of the IP groups on the harmful effects of dangerous drug abuse and its adverse impact on their communities. Recently, the DDB conducted the Seminar on Drug Abuse Prevention Education in Albay, Bicol to impart preventive measures against drug abuse and to improve their resilience.
Through this two-day training program, the participants were empowered to become proactive anti-drug advocates within their local communities and among their peer groups.
