The Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) stood in solidarity with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in celebrating its 23rd Anniversary, a milestone that reflects more than two decades of unyielding commitment to safeguarding the Filipino people from the harms of illegal drugs.
PDEA Director General Isagani Nerez welcomed guests to the anniversary celebration, which featured Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin as Guest of Honor and Speaker. The DDB, through Secretary Oscar Valenzuela and Undersecretary Earl Saavedra, reaffirmed its strong partnership with the Agency by joining the occasion.
More than a tribute to years of public service, the event served as a moment of reflection on the nation’s progress in confronting the drug problem and the continuing work that lies ahead.
As the implementation of the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy advances, the DDB reaffirms its full support for PDEA’s evolving role in driving operational excellence and strengthening supply reduction efforts.
Together, we move forward with shared purpose, knowing that a safer, healthier, and more resilient Bagong Pilipinas is not just a vision but a collective responsibility.
