The Dangerous Drugs Board obtained the approval of its proposed ₱421.37 million budget for Fiscal Year 2025 during the Plenary Deliberation at the House of Representatives. Of the total budget, 59% will fund the agency’s operations, 15% will be allocated to a special account in the general fund, 14% to personnel services, 11% for capital outlay, and 1% for employee retirement and life insurance. This represents a 20.8% increase compared to the 2024 budget.
This crucial funding not only strengthens DDB’s programs and priorities but underscores its unwavering commitment to advancing drug abuse prevention and control efforts towards healthy and safe communities.
