The Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) proudly joined the Recognition of Commitment to a Drug-Free Workplace and the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Outpatient Department Building of the Department of Health – Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DOH-TRC) in Dagupan.
This milestone was made possible through the DDB’s grant of financial assistance in line with Section 75 of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), which authorizes the Board to support the establishment and maintenance of DOH-accredited TRCs nationwide.
DDB Chairperson – Secretary Oscar Valenzuela, together with Permanent Members Undersecretary Armando Ramolete and Undersecretary Abad Osit, reaffirmed the DDB’s clear commitment to accessible, quality, and compassionate treatment services.
This initiative reinforces the infrastructure and systems needed to sustain recovery pathways and promote healthier communities.
