The Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) has granted financial assistance amounting to ₱5,500,000.00 to the Department of Health – Treatment and Rehabilitation Center Bicutan (DOH-TRC Bicutan), reaffirming the government’s commitment to strengthening treatment and rehabilitation services through sustained institutional support.

DDB Chairperson – Secretary Oscar Valenzuela formally handed over the financial assistance to Dr. Leah Panopio, Chief Health Program Officer and Head of the Outpatient and Aftercare Division of DOH TRC Bicutan, during the turnover ceremony witnessed by DDB officials and personnel, as well as DOH TRC Bicutan staff.

This particular support to DOH TRC Bicutan will be utilized for the design and construction of an Advanced Oxidation Process Sewage Treatment Plant to strengthen the center’s wastewater treatment and environmental management systems, enhance compliance with environmental standards, and support the continued delivery of quality treatment and rehabilitation services through a safe, healthy, and recovery-conducive environment for both clients and personnel.
