The Dangerous Drugs Board together with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Regional Office for the Southeast Asia and the Pacific hosted the 2023 Global Synthetics Monitoring: Analyses, Reporting, and Trends (SMART) Programme Regional Workshops for the East and Southeast Asia.
Dangerous Drugs Board Chairman Catalino Cuy graced the event with an opening message focused on the updates and development of the Philippines drug situations and policy implementation.
Joining the Philippine delegation is Deputy Executive Director for Operations, Assistant Secretary Maria Belen Angelita V. Matibag, Ms. Maria Lourdes S. Rubio, and Mr. John Rey C. Alvior of the Dangerous Drugs Board, Atty. Severino P. Uy, Jr. and Ms. Angela D. Salvador of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
