Focused on addressing critical public health concerns related to mental, psychosocial, and neurological conditions, the summit underscored key strategies for preventing mental health disorders and substance-related issues. Under the theme, “Ginhawa ng Isip at Damdamin,” the event promoted mental wellness and holistic well-being for all.
DDB Executive Director, Undersecretary Earl P. Saavedra, highlighted the efforts of DOH-Central Visayas Center for Health Development in bringing together government agencies, local leaders, NGOs, and rehabilitation centers to strengthen mental health and substance abuse prevention efforts. The Summit also explored innovative solutions to improve access to mental health services across the region.
