DDB holds Seminar-Workshop in Genderizing IEC Materials on Drug Prevention

17 local government units in Metro Manila gathered to join the three-day Seminar-Workshop of the Dangerous Drugs Board on Genderizing Information, Education, Communication (IEC) Materials on Drug Prevention.
The seminar is designed to review and genderize their existing IEC materials and come up with fresh ideas for new IEC materials.
Genderizing it encourages Local Government Units to produce gender-responsive and gender-sensitive publications which form part of the 2024 Gender and Development Plans and Programs of the DDB.
Dr. Ferdinand Gonzales, from the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), served as the lead resource speaker of the training. Deputy Executive Director for Operations, Assistant Secretary Maria Belen Angelita Matibag delivered a message to formally start the program.
