De La Salle University Laguna Campus launches YAKAP Advocacy Run
De La Salle University Laguna Campus, through its Office of the College Student Affairs – Student Discipline Formation Unit, proudly launched the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) celebration with the YAKAP: Advocacy Fun Run on 22 June 2024. The activity was organized to offer the students a valuable opportunity that would cater to their needs and develop their full potential as leaders and volunteers.
The Dangerous Drugs Board supported this initiative focusing on youth involvement in line with this year’s IDADAIT theme, “The Evidence is Clear: Invest in Prevention.” This action reinforces its dedication to empowering the youth sector in national drug prevention and control initiatives.
200 TNVS Drivers joins DDB’s DDB ‘Riders Against Drugs’ Motorcade
PDEA, LTO leads DDB’s Learning Sessions for TNVS Drivers
#IDADAIT2024 | A series of learning sessions were featured by the Dangerous Drugs Board during the 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) to the more than 200 Transportation Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) drivers.
Investigation Agent Jacqueline Sogoc and Atty. Sherwood Gayadon of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) discussed the Basic Anti-Drug Education for TNVS which aims to raise awareness on drug-related matters and on how to safeguard riders from becoming vulnerable couriers of dangerous drugs.
Afterwards, Beverly Sabela of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) highlighted in her discussion: the Road Safety, Traffic Rules, and Regulations which adheres to Republic Act No. 4136 or the Land Transportation and Traffic Code.

The Dangerous Drugs Board, the National Youth Commission, the Department of Interior, and Local Government jointly spearheaded this year’s commemoration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) with the event “#YOUthCanMakeltHappen: Laban sa Droga, Kabataan ay BIDA in Calamba Laguna.”
Secretary Catalino S. Cuy expressed his support for parallel efforts in the advocacy campaign against drug abuse in his inspirational message.
Beyond strengthening partnerships, this event renewed the DDB’s dedication to cultivating drug-free communities and empowering youth leaders to drive meaningful change.

To signify a united effort to reinforce partnerships and commitment to achieving a healthy, drug-free lifestyle across the nation, the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), in collaboration with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), the Quezon City Government, the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC), 1-Rider Partylist, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and Transport Network Vehicle Service providers, signed the “Manifesto of Commitment and Support for a Drug-Free Philippines.”

Cong. Marcos leads the Distribution of Laptops to Support Anti-Drug Initiatives
The Dangerous Drugs Board had a successful commemoration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) in Ilocos Norte. Presidential Son and Congressman Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos led the distribution of laptops and desktop computers to local stakeholders and youth leaders. The equipment will be used for the different advocacy works in support of their respective anti-drug programs and projects.
