Throughout June, the Dangerous Drugs Board led the Philippines’ observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) 2026 through a nationwide series of activities that translated this year’s global theme into meaningful action.
Across the country, researchers advanced evidence that informs policy, young innovators explored technology-driven solutions, communities championed prevention through education and public engagement, local governments strengthened local initiatives, and treatment and rehabilitation partners expanded opportunities for recovery.
