More than 2,000 youth leaders gathered for an energy-filled Parade of Youth in celebration of this year’s International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT).
The Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), in partnership with the Local Government of Batac City, Ilocos Norte, led a civic parade along Washington Street, bringing together youth advocates—including students, Sangguniang Kabataan officials, youth volunteers, as well as national and local government representatives.
This year’s celebration placed young Filipinos at the heart of the national movement against illegal drugs, recognizing their key role in prevention efforts and in promoting a safe and healthy lifestyle.
As future leaders of the nation, the youth play a crucial part in building a more drug-resilient society. The DDB remains steadfast in its commitment to support and empower them, helping shape a stronger, more resilient future.
Be part of the movement toward a safer, healthier community.
Let’s mark World Drug Day 2025 with the global theme:
“The evidence is clear: Invest in prevention. Break the cycle.”
