The Dangerous Drugs Board showed its support in the conduct of Sama na sa Lakad ng Kabataang Ayaw sa Droga (SANLAKAD) and BIDA Youth Launching in Biñan City, Laguna on August 20,2023. The event aims to inspire the youth’s active participation in sports and in living healthy and drug-free lifestyles.
Undersecretary Earl P. Saavedra, CESO I delivered his keynote message highlighting the factors that influence the youth’s exposure to drug abuse and the importance of actively saying no to drugs.
The program is led by the City Government of Biñan through the Youth and Sports Development Office (YASDO), in partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation and the Local Youth Development Council of Biñan.
Biñan City Police Chief Lt. Col. Virgilio Jopia, together with Mr. Alfred Benedict Suarez of the City Youth and Sports Development Office, also graced the event.
