Key priorities that will form part of the DDB’s institutional roles under the mechanism of the Special Committee on Human Rights Coordination include: increasing the availability and voluntary access to services as well as the capacity to address cross-cutting issues related to drug control, strengthening international cooperation and sustaining the efforts to enhance the communication strategy and research initiatives to address stigma and discrimination towards persons who use drugs.
The DDB extends its appreciation to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime as well as its partners from the national government agencies and civil society organizations for their commitment and for championing human rights in drug policy, working towards a better future for all.
