The Dangerous Drugs Board, in collaboration with the Local Government of Quezon City, launched the 2023 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Summit in celebration of the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Week.
The two-day event gathered 102 ADAC Members all over the National Capital Region to exchange experiences and best practices which aimed at tackling the continuum care of people in recovery and effectively removing the stigma and discrimination up to their reintegration into society.
Deputy Executive Director for Operations, Assistant Secretary Maria Belen Angelita Matibag served as one of the subject matter experts of the summit. Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Carlo Sotto attended on the second day of the program to deliver his inspirational message. Concluding the summit was QC-ADAC Executive Director Alfredo Foronda.
