This innovative, evidence-based life skills curriculum, crafted by international experts, is tailored specifically for sports coaches, teachers, and youth mentors. Its primary objective is to provide these educators with effective tools to tackle the risk factors associated with crime, violence, and substance use through the medium of sports. Moreover, the program emphasizes the importance of fostering protective factors that contribute to the positive development of young people.
Through this collaboration, the DDB reaffirms its commitment to supporting UNODC’s global youth crime prevention initiative. The partnership involves mapping drug and crime prevention policies, frameworks, and programs in coordination with national government agencies, local government units, and youth and sports associations during the event.
