Youth advocates from Region I joined the Dangerous Drugs Board’s Training on Life Skills Enhancement on Drug Prevention Education during this year’s observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT).
The three-day training empowered supreme student council officers by reinforcing their resiliency skills against the use of illegal drugs and by enhancing their knowledge on its adverse effects. A variety of dynamic and engaging learning activities were conducted, guided by subject matter experts from the Dangerous Drugs Board and the Dagupan City Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center
The training concluded with a renewed sense of purpose among the youth participants, who are now ready to take an active role in promoting a safe community free from drug abuse. Armed with enhanced life skills and valuable insights, they are expected to serve as catalysts for positive change.
